Fastpass and Single Rider Attractions in Shanghai Disneyland

Shanghai Disneyland is opening later this year. Since the opening date, June 16, is fairly close to school summer holidays, I can't help worrying about the huge crowds in the park during its first few months.

Fortunately, Fastpasses and Single Rider lines can help reduce the wait times significantly. Today let's take a look at those attractions with which you can enjoy these benefits!

Single Rider Lines

If you are enjoying the park by yourself, you may enter the Single Rider line for the following attractions!

Fastpass Attractions

If you prefer to take a Fastpass and return later to enjoy the attraction, you may do so as well!
It will be a new experience for many Chinese visitors, as I have never seen such system in any of the local amusement parks.

Notice that Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for the Sunken Treasure has a Single Rider line but not Fastpass.

It seems like when it first opens, Shanghai Disneyland will not have Magicband and Fastpass Plus.

I am really excited about all the new experiences this park has to offer!

  1. I am glad that both Magic Band and FastPass Plus is not coming as this would be too complicated for the average Chinese themepark goer. As it is FastPass would be an entirely new concept for them.
I am glad that Peter Pan would have FastPass to curb the potential long lines (40 min or more in Disneyland) and with any indication from HKDL (long lines for Winnie the Pooh there) this would definitely make sense.
