Frozen Area Coming to Tokyo DisneySea

This is so exciting! A Frozen theme land is coming to Tokyo DisneySea, opening sometime after the first half of 2017.

Look at that! Not only it's got Frozen ride, it has everything else as well. Arendelle (much likely to be a themed Meet-and-Greet area), the village and even Elsa's ice castle on the mountain top!

The land will be constructed in an area of the park which has yet to be developed.

As part of the 10-year development plan which the resort announced last year, the opening of the Frozen area will be accompanied by two new areas themed to Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland, at Tokyo Disneyland Park.

You can check out the official announcement here (in Japanese), as well as look at the concept art.

  1. According to the document there is mention of "expansion" of other areas namely parts of Tomorrowland as well as the carpark behind. Based on previous concept art It's a Small World would be shifted to this new area. I believe that Alice in Wonderland will take the place for Small World and Beauty and the Beast would become the are soon to be vacated by Tomorrowland Terrace.

  2. Hey Wee-Sen,

    Thanks for the reply.
Yes I think you are right, according to the previous concept art

  3. Hey Luke! Im thinking of going HK Disney land and do u happen to know when is the best time to go? Also how much will the total estimated cost be flying from sg?
Also any news about FOX THEMEPARK in msia?

    1. Hi Friend!
      Thanks for dropping by!

I am sorry that I am not very sure when is the best time. I usually go there in December and I don't think it's very crowded. But I strongly suggest that you avoid any Chinese Holidays such as Chinese New Year, as the parks could become really busy with the tourists.

And regarding the 20th Century Fox Theme Park, I am afraid that I have not heard about any updates.

      Hope it helps. :)
